From flying PA to troubleshooting noise, front of house may seem straight forward and easy but it's harder than most would think. As a FOH engineer, or assistant, you always have to pay attention to many things at once. From the quality of the mix, to radios or comms, to the producer standing next to you. However, once the show starts, any mistakes will be heard by all. So it's important to have someone with their head in the game at every moment.
